Housing your reptile
As with any other pet you need to ensure that your pet reptile is housed in the best conditions that will suit its individual need. Lots of people house their reptile in a disused fish aquarium, it will work but is not ideal and the main reason is that glass is not a good isolator and most reptile cages need to be temperature controlled to suit the individual reptile. Best is a wooden terrarium with one panel made of glass preferably sliding in order for you to access the terrarium for cleaning and maintenance. A lot of these are commercially available.
